360 degrees of natural beauty
The Metolian's 627-acre section of land is located in Central Oregon. Its location is unrivaled. Of all Central Oregon vacation community sites, it has the shortest drive time from Oregon's Willamette Valley as well as the Portland Metro area.
Sited in the Cascades just six miles from Santiam Pass, the property is approximately .6 miles north of the Suttle Lake entrance and State Highway 20. Part of the Metolius Watershed, First Creek bounds the northern boundary and Lake Creek creates the southern. It is the gateway to the Mount Jefferson Wilderness area and Deschutes National Forest, which are accessible through an extensive network of trails and forest roads. Surrounded on all sides by the Federal Lands of Deschutes National Forest, it is three miles east of the Jefferson Wilderness Area, four miles west of the Metolius River.
